3rd Annual Piping & Drumming Competition Review

The 3rd Annual piping & drumming competition at Gordon's School was held on Saturday 25th March 2006. The attendence and standard of playing was first class and the entire day went far better than expected. The origional plan for the competition format had to be changed at the last minute due to the large entry which was easily applied by the SPSL's excellent organisational staff. The day is entireley for amateur players and this year saw the very first entries for the practice chanter section. This competition is going from strength to strength and has become a firm fixture in the South of England competition calendar.
